Prayer Focus - June, 2008

Sunday - 1
Please pray for Sergey Fomenko, FEBC Russian Ministries administrative manager. Pray that God will continue to bless his work with FEBC staff in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Khabarovsk, and Kazakhstan. Also pray for his family. Sergey and his wife Irina have four children and two grandchildren.

Monday - 2
Irina from St. Petersburg became a Christian through FEBC broadcasts. Her husband told her that if she continues to pray he will leave her. Please pray that God will change her husband’s heart and bless this family.

Tuesday - 3
“We are so lucky that we can listen to FEBC broadcasts in our city through the Internet! My friends and I found freedom in Jesus Christ because of your amazing programs. Thank you. Please pray for us.” Your young listener Konstantin.

Wednesday - 4
Olga from Belorussia wrote to us: “Three years ago I went to a hospital because I was seriously ill; I am diabetic. One of the patients gave me a CD with FEBC programs, and I listened to those programs many times. During that timeI became a Christian. Thank you! Unfortunately, I am still ill and spend several months a year in the hospital. Please pray that God will heal me.”

Thursday - 5
“Dear brothers and sisters, I have been your listener for a long time. I support your ministry and pray for you. Recently I became ill and need your prayers. Please pray that God will heal me.” Mikhail from St. Petersburg.

Friday - 6
Vitaly accepted Jesus through FEBC broadcasts when he was 14. In a short time his mother also became a Christian. “Please pray for my father. Recently he had a stroke. Pray that God will save his soul and heal his body,” asked Vitaly.

Saturday - 7
Please pray for Olga Denisova, the host of a teen program on FEBC’s St. Petersburg station. Also pray for many teenagers who accepted Jesus as their Savior through her programs.

Sunday - 8
“I thank God for FEBC radio and pray for you every day. I am the only Christian in my village and I preach the gospel to all my neighbors. Many of them began to listen to your programs. Please pray that they will come to know the Lord and we will be able to start a church in my village.” Elena from Samara region.

Monday - 9
FEBC staff in Chernovtsy asked us to pray for Oksana. She is a teacher and began to listen to FEBC broadcasts and read the Bible. Sometimes she goes to church but hasn’t make a decision to serve God.

Tuesday - 10
“You don’t know me, but I am one of millions of people who listen to you. You helped me save my marriage. Thank you! Please pray that God will bless our family.” Vitaly from Moscow.

Wednesday - 11
Please pray for Irina Chernova, Director of FEBC-Russia’s News Center. FEBC is not able to broadcast news programs now because of governmental regulations, but Irina finds ways to inform the public about Christian activities through commentaries.

Thursday - 12
Please pray for Alexandr Anisimov, an FEBC programmer in St. Petersburg. The majority of his listeners are young people who like to talk to Alexandr about their problems. Pray that God will save them through Alexandr’s broadcasts.

Friday - 13
“Recently I became a Christian because of FEBC radio. My husband Georgy doesn’t believe in God, he is unfaithful, and wants to get a divorce. Please pray that Georgy will repent of all his sins and accept Jesus.” Viktoria from St. Petersburg.

Saturday - 14
Please pray for Denis Kozlov, an FEBC programmer in St. Petersburg. Denis produces programs for young non-believers. Many of them have become Christians and have started going to church. Pray for them also.

Sunday - 15
Please pray for Valentin Burlaka, FEBC studio manager. Pray that God will continue to bless his work and that many more listeners will come to know the Lord through his ministry. Also pray for his family. Valentin and Svetlana have four children and six grandchildren.

Monday - 16
Mikhail from St. Petersburg says: “Dear friends, I listen to FEBC radio regularly because my soul needs it. Thank you for God’s Word that I learn from your broadcasts. Now I need your prayers because I became ill. Please pray that God will heal me.”

Tuesday - 17
Please pray for Oleg Bindasov, FEBC manager in Moscow. Pray that God will continue to bless his work with our Moscow staff and his family. Oleg and his wife Katya have two sons.

Wednesday - 18
“I like your programs very much, especially Evgeny Sarapulov’s Good Day program. Recently I accepted Jesus as my Savior through his program. After this my relatives began to persecute me, and I am under stress all the time. Please pray for me.” Vladimir from St. Petersburg.

Thursday - 19
Recently, FEBC has been forced to deal with stricter controls from various government agencies. Please pray that we’ll be able to continue to broadcast the Good News to millions of Russians.

Friday - 20
Svetlana Stepanenko, an FEBC programmer in Slavyansk, asked us to continue to pray for her non-believing mother and relatives. “Please pray that they will commit their lives to Christ,” said Svetlana.

Saturday - 21
Please pray for Vyacheslav from Khabarovsk. He just began to listen to FEBC broadcasts and now reads his Bible every day. Pray that he will commit his life to Christ.

Sunday - 22
Tatiana recently began listening to FEBC programs and understends that she is a sinner and needs God’s help. She had an abortion and asks God to forgive her sin. Please pray for Tatiana.

Monday - 23
Olga from Moscow just became a Christian through our ministry. “Thank you for preaching the gospel to us. In Christianity I find everything I was looking for all my life. Please pray that I will locate a good church.”

Tuesday - 24
“Please pray for our new church for young people. We invite students to listen to FEBC programs, and many of them became members of our church. Thank you!” Pastor Vasily from Novosibirsk.

Wednesday - 25
Please pray for Natalia Teterina, an FEBC programmer in St. Petersburg. She is a counselor and she has helped many people get insight into their difficulties. Listeners call the studio, ask questions, and talk to her about their problems. Also pray for her husband Aleksandr and their three children.

Thursday - 26
“Please pray for my friend Sergey. He is disabled and recently accepted Jesus through FEBC broadcasts. He was struggling with depression, but now he is a very happy person because of your amazing programs that give him joy and peace. Please pray that God will heal Sergey. He believes in your prayers.” Georgy from Russia.

Friday - 27
Raisa called our studio in Khabarovsk for the first time. She said that she likes our programs very much and she shared a poem she wrote about FEBC broadcasts. Please pray that Raisa will accept Jesus.

Saturday - 28
“For more than a year I suffered from depression. I began to listen to FEBC broadcasts and now feel there is hope for me. I still don’t understand many things, but I know that Jesus loves me. Please pray for me.” Vasily from Siberia.

Sunday – 29
Please pray for Nadezhda from Khabarovsk who recently became a Christian through FEBC broadcasts. Her husband is a non-believer and wants to divorce her. Pray that God will save their marriage.

Monday - 30
Please pray for Grigory Burlaka, FEBC manager in Chernovtsy, Ukraine, as he has many ministry responsibilities. Pray that many Ukrainians will become Christians through Grigory’s ministry.
